A hand holds a mug under a kettle and lets it overflow. Tradition reads the Ace of Cups as a new feeling: an opening of the heart, affection, a creative or emotional start. It's an offer, not a contract. The card asks you to let a feeling be given or received in a simple way, without deciding yet what it has to become.
