Eight of Cups

正位
Eight washed mugs lined up on a long table, and he's walking toward the open door under a round clock. Tradition reads the Eight of Cups as walking away from something that no longer fills you, even when it looks fine from outside. Leaving isn't failure or betrayal. Staying can be valid too. The card asks you to be honest about which one you're choosing, and why.
Leaving empty cups is not betrayal. Staying to look loyal can wear you down.

He stops at the door, hand on the frame. Reversed, the Eight of Cups may point to wanting to leave and not being able to yet, drifting between staying and going, or leaving in a rush without knowing what you're looking for. There are many good reasons to stay for now. The card asks you to name what you'd want if you left, so staying or going becomes a real choice.
Stop at the door if you need to. Then decide.
